are set to headline this years Saturday night at Jersey Live.
With 6 albums to their name and over 15 years in the music industry they're a duo not to be missed.
Groove Armada are Andy Cato and Tom Findlay, both from England who got together in the 1990's, they got into the music business in a bit of a different style to many others - the duo started up their own nightclub called.. you guessed it... 'Groove Armada'
By the late 90's the duo had released a handful of singles including one of their most popular songs 'At the River' in which they sampled the song 'Old Cape Cod' and those now famous lines "If you're fond of sand dunes and salty air, Quaint little villages here and there" It was re-released in 1999 and became the chill-out song of the Summer.
Over the years Groove Armada have collaborated with a huge number of artists... Neneh Cherry, Mutya Buena, Richie Havens, Brian Ferry and most recently Will Young.
After 6 albums and 28 singles the duo are still going strong. There latest album 'Black Light' was released earlier this year.
The first two singles have already been released from the album. "I Won't Kneel" was released late last year, followed by the more upbeat "Paper Romance" in 2010.
