Kate Nash started her career in 2005. After several gigs, she uploaded her music to MySpace and found herself a manager and started recording music.
In April 2007, Kate signed to Fiction Records which was part of Polydor, and released Foundations in June 2007. It took the charts by storm and the record company then brought the release of her debut album forward to August that same year and it reached number 1.
To top off an amazing year in 2008 she picked up a Brit Award for Best Female Artist.
After taking a year out in 2009 she returned to music with her second album which is currently riding high in the album charts.
The first single from the album was called Do Wah Doo, and released on 12 April 2010.

Kate Nash will be taking to this year's Jersey Live Stage as part of the Sunday line-up.
