Mark McQuillan reports
Jersey remain on target for promotion into the Championship with another big home win.
After a tight first half which saw Jersey leading 10-nil, the floodgates opened in the second half with five more tries for Jersey to make the final score 39-0. It was their second clean sheet in a row.
Nick Trower opened the scoring for Jersey and Ross Broadfoot converted to make it 7-0.
But after a bright start, the game became confrontational with off-the-ball incidents and scrappy play.
A Jersey penalty kick attempt failed, but moments later Ross Broadfoot was given another opportunity and made an accurate kick to earn another three points.
After what was a gruelling first half the game remained tightly poised at 10-0.
Guy Thompson bagged Jersey's second try, but it was not converted leaving the score at 15-0.
Macclesfield missed a penalty kick, but moments later Steve O'Brien was yellow-carded for a late high tackle. Again Macclesfield missed a penalty shot.
Ten minutes from full-time, Guy Thompson gained his second try which was converted by Ross Broadfoot to make it 22-0.
Thompson bagged a hat-trick to secure a bonus-point and James Copsey went over for Jersey's 5th taking the score to 34-0.
In the final moments of the game Jersey scored their final try.
Jersey are top of the table with 110 points and Ealing Trailfinders are in second place with 104 points. Next week (21 April) Jersey play away to Coventry and their final game is on 28 April at home against Fylde.
