Island. The very word conjures images of sandy beaches, sheltered glades and hidden gems. Every Islander has a place that is special to them, a place that symbolises what they would call 'My Island'.

All of the Channel Islands are special in some way and we are proud to share them with you. In this unique project Channel Television asked some well known islanders to tell us about their favourite place. We recorded their stories and broadcast them for all to experience. We hope you enjoy these special places just as much
