Set in the shadow of the Mont Orgueil Castle, the annual Gorey Harbour fete is one of the largest charity events of the year.

From fairground rides to fireworks, there's something for all.

This afternoon (Thursday) there were hundreds of people on the beach for some family fun and games.

By tonight, a crowd of many thousands is expected to watch a series of whacky events - like the spaghetti-eating contest. The fete ends with a fireworks display.
