Picture perfect

A valuable painting by a renowned nineteenth century Jersey artist has been given to the museum.

Jersey Harbour in Fortune Bay, Newfoundland was painted in 1867 was painted by Philip Ouless.

The family of the late John Appleby say they've donated the picture so the whole island can enjoy it.
