Motorcyclist dies after colliding with parked car

A 22 year old man has died in Guernsey after a motorbike accident in St Saviours.

Ryan Thomson died after colliding with a parked car outside Mont Variouf School at Le Neuf Chemin on Monday night.

The accident happened at around 9.30pm and Guernsey Police are keen to speak to anyone who saw two motorcycles being ridden together in the surrounding area after 9pm.

Mr Thomson was born on September 16th 1987 and was living at an address in St Martins.

Police officers say they're continuing to work closely with Mr Thomson's family.

A detailed investigation is now underway and any witnesses are asked to contact PC Jon Walker on 725111.

So sorry to hear this, such a lovely young boy, we had some laughs... great to work with, fantastic father, loved very much and he will be missed so much by all that knew him. My thoughts go out to his family R.I.P xx

What an awful tragedy! To lose one child would be unbearable but to lose two only months apart must be devastating for the family! My thoughts and love go out to the parents and to Nathan! xx
