Sark's wildlife and landscapes are likely to come under very close scrutiny next year.
Having worked all over the world, the Artists for Nature Foundation is planning to mark its 20th anniversary in the Channel Islands.
Fourteen artists are hoping to visit Sark to highlight all aspects of life on the island.
The Artists for Nature Foundation is a non-profit, non-political group who want to highlight the world's precious and threatened places through their work.
Sark's Rosanne Guille said: 'The artists that are chosen to come on these projects are very specifically chosen for what they can offer the project because it's all about raising awareness and educating the children and the people that live here'.
The project would be called 'The Art of Conservation on the Island of Sark' and would have a strong focus on community involvement. The plan is to have daily showings of the work, and for the visiting artists to run projects with local schoolchildren.
The event comes at a cost and the organisers say they're looking for local sponsors to help out. But they say it would have long-term benefits for the island - encouraging even more people to come and see Sark.
