Guernsey's milk cartons are set to have another make-over to encourage more islanders to recycle.

Ninety three thousand cartons will carry the message "Wake up to milk carton recycling".

The Public Services Department has teamed up with the Guernsey Dairy and the slogan will now appear on low-fat cartons as well as full cream packaging

The news comes after the States scrapped plans for an incinerator meaning the island has to look at recycling more than it does now.
