Family friends of a young Alderney girl who suffers from a rare muscle wasting disease have started a campaign to raise funds to find out more about her illness.

Kaylee Huddart Tugby suffers from Myopathy - there are only four people diagnosed with it in the world.

So little is known about Kaylee's strain of Myopathy that doctors are unsure as to the best course of treatment. But there is a professor in Philadelphia who specialises in the muscle disorder. Now Kaylee's family friends are trying to raise awareness with lime green ribbons and raise as much cash as they can to get to America.

If you'd like to make a donation to help Kaylee or find out more information email helpkaylee@hotmail.co.uk
