Engaging young people in the political process is an excellent way of raising awareness about issues that face people in other parts of the world. The first Commonwealth Youth Summit appears to have been a hugh success. The students appeared to be well informed and the Secretary General, Steadman Noble, did an excellent job at moderating the event. There is indeed hope for the future of the commonwealth.
