A new scheme in Guernsey should see dyslexic secondary school students getting more support for their learning problems.
Eleven secondary school teachers spent yesterday learning how to recognise and support dyslexia amongst their students.
It was the first day of a three month course for the teachers, who will attend the dyslexia day centre on a weekly basis. They say recognising dyslexia will be key to their future teaching.
If you need support for dyslexia, you can contact Teresa O'Hara or Alison Barnett at the Dyslexia Day Centre.
