Guernsey Sea Fisheries department are clamping down on trawling.

Pair Trawling within 3 nautical miles of Guernsey has been banned.

Sea Fisheries have made the move since running a consultation with fishermen. 42% of all Bailiwick fishermen who responded, said they were keen to see pair trawling banned or prohibited

There are 175 registered fishing boats and this move is designed to help them.
