Another excellent Concert in prospect at Georgetown Methodist Church when the next
“ Thursday Night is Music Night “

It is an evening of vocal music of the highest quality
with the return of the Russian Ensemble

[ WHICH TRANSLATED MEANS GOOD NEWS .]
They are a group of 5 professional Russian Musicians,
All vocal soloists in their own right , but put together and conducted by Olga Koslova,
They provide a fascinating mixture of both Orthodox traditional Church /religious music and then a second half of folk music. Just come and hear the quality !!
From the very deep bass notes we can’t even imagine
to those ethereal angelic soprano notes, not to forget
that special quality tenor voice…and will he sing Kalinka ?
If you missed hearing them in the past , don’t miss them this year !
OR, so that you don’t miss it………….they also sing at
Holy Trinity Church the evening before. Wednesday MAY 16th.
Also at 8.00pm
As usual NO tickets are required ,
but there will be a retiring collection toward the group’s travelling expenses as they begin their UK Tour at both Concerts..
