A new service has been launched which could help Islanders in Jersey avoid costly and lengthy court hearings.

The Community Mediation Service is available through the Citizen's Advice Bureau and cost users just £20.

The aim is to resolve business or domestic arguments, but the Chair of the Jersey Mediation Service says it's important people use the service during the six month trial period.
