A Jersey entrepreneur is hoping for global success with a new financial information service for the offshore sector.

Nathan Wright isn't a novice to IT innovation, though. In the mid-1990s he launched the Internet Services Provider (ISP) Localdial, today part of Newtel.

The new service, Offshore Announcements, gathers and filters industry information and allows compliance departments to monitor what information is read and received by employees.

The service has been well received in Jersey, but Nathan Wright's ambition doesn't end there. He's already had interest from Switzerland and Singapore is also looking promising.
